Lumber Baron of Jasper County

This comedy series follows the adventures of the Lumber Baron, a delusional man who wears a crown, cape and overalls and proclaims himself the “king” of lumber, as he and his crew take on the madness of Jasper County and the Lumber business.      The Lumber Baron hires his "Wall Street" minded cousin, Mike, to "shape up" an out-of-control Lumber Supply Store. Mike finds the task more difficult than he originally assumed and his efforts often backfire, causing him all kinds of embarrassment and pain.    Meanwhile Ashley, a long-term employee of the lumber yard, secretly pines for the Lumber Baron and resents Mike's new position that she believes belongs to her. At the end of Season One, amidst a bunch of drama, Ashley admits her feelings for the Lumber Baron and they decide to give it a shot.    In Season 2, Mike changes his perspective and approaches the job differently, often with more success. Ashley and the Lumber Baron continue to explore the possibles of their relationship that soon becomes turbulent. And more strange, annoying, mysterious and dangerous people are drawn to the lumber yard.    In the upcoming Season 3, things get even weirder and more exciting. We'd love to tell you more, but we don't want to ruin the surprise...

The Troubadoors

If the television shows COMMUNITY and FLIGHT OF THE CONCORDS got together and had a web series baby, it would be THE TROUBADOORS. It’s a musical comedy about a ragtag group of college students who go caroling door to door for a new holiday every week. With the top choir of their university, The Harmonics, maintaining a stronghold on every performance venue in the city, The Troubadoors must fight for their right to perform. Holidays like Labor Day, Hobbit Day, Native American Day and Halloween will be awkwardly but skillfully celebrated through song.

Why Mobile Will Make Your Web Series The Biggest Series Ever In The History of Series'!!
Okay, there is some element of hyperbole in the presentation topic, but the biggest creative and technological shift in the last 20 years has been the advent of mobile. How do you as a web content producer use mobile to unleash the creativity in your product? What audiences are suddenly opened up when you approach production with a mobile first direction? The mobile device is in every pocket, bag, and hand...the mobile platform as a creative canvas and distribution medium is what we will talk about.

The Nuggets
Two idiotic but lovable suburbanites named Holly Hollenbrook (a former dental model) and Don Lach (a former lotto number puller) have been hired by the tourist bureau of a small southern town to host a promotional “news” show. The town’s claim to fame is that they were once the site of the first major (minor) U.S. gold rush. Holly and Don are given the task of finding a fabled, giant gold nugget known as EL NUGGOTA.

These webisodes take the audience on a comic romp through the foothills and towns of the North Georgia mountains as Don and Holly stumble through hilarious, touching, and at times profound encounters with local movers, shakers, tweakers, and seekers a.k.a."Nuggets." The characters include a County Road Assessor, who is installing ginormous speed humps and building roads that go nowhere, a 14 year old boy who dispenses Zen-like knowledge about life and love, and Nugget, the town dog who lives at the gas station and is treated like a King – all of who teach Holly and Don (and us) a lesson or two about the humor and complexity of American life.

Growing Up Guide Pup

Growing Up Guide Pup is a web series that puts a microscope on raising guide dogs for the blind.  The creators, Amie and Matt Chapman, dedicate their mission to help their fellow humans who have lost their vision.  During the show they endure much drama in order to train their pups for proper development while also juggling the constant struggles and joy anyone who has ever raised a puppy may identify with.  However, when they add the challenges of working in the public sector to the mix, these canines must endure and learn many things most dogs only dream about.    Both in their mid-thirties, and married to one another, they have different levels of knowledge.  Amie has vast experience at raising these guide pups.  Matt on the other hand has a lot to learn, but is trying to catch up while he films the web series at the same time.  After a pup graduates to guide dog status, saying good bye pulls at the heart strings even though a puppy raiser understands that they are helping change the life of someone in need.  As each season unfolds the audience will experience the questions "Despite the vast challenges, will this pup have what it takes to become a guide dog?  And if they do, how on earth can they let them go?"
